Welcome to Chrono Sheet (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Description of the App

The App is a stopwatch tool that allows users to:

  1. Record time measurements.
  2. Store data in user-selected or newly created Google Sheet documents within their Google Drive.

The App requires access to:

  • Google Drive: To list, select, or create Google Sheet documents.
  • Google Sheets: To read, write, and update time measurement data.

All user data is stored locally on the user’s device and within their Google Sheets. The App does not transmit or store user data on external servers.

2. User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

  • Grant the necessary permissions to access your Google Drive and Google Sheets for the App’s functionality.
  • Ensure your Google account credentials and data are secure.
  • Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms.

3. Permissions and Access

The App uses Google OAuth 2.0 to request limited permissions necessary for its functionality. Specifically:

  • Google Drive: To display available Google Sheets, allow selection of a document, or create a new document.
  • Google Sheets: To store, retrieve, and manage time measurement data.

You can revoke the App’s access to your Google account at any time through your Google account settings. However, revoking access may limit the App’s functionality.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • On Your Device: All time measurement data is stored locally on your device unless you choose to save it in a Google Sheet.
  • In Google Sheets: Data you choose to save is stored directly in your Google Sheets within your Google Drive.

The App does not:

  • Store user data on external servers.
  • Share user data with third parties.

You are responsible for the security of your Google account and any data stored in your Google Drive.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  1. Use the App for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes.
  2. Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App.
  3. Misuse or exploit Google Drive or Google Sheets permissions granted to the App.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its content, including but not limited to its design, code, and features, are the intellectual property of Denis Zhdanov. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute the App without prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Denis Zhdanov is not liable for:

  • Loss of data stored on your device or Google Sheets.
  • Unauthorized access to your Google account.
  • Any damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.

8. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with Google APIs for accessing Google Drive and Google Sheets. Use of these services is subject to Google’s terms and policies:

We are not responsible for any issues arising from your use of Google’s services.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App or other appropriate means. Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Singapore.
